Love Me If You're Rich

Those T-Shirt designers are at it again.

3 day weekend. Everyone's favourite.

Been working hard. (Who are you and what have you done to the real Shao Xun?!) Really. 3.0 GPA may be kinda ambitious, but hopefully by year-end can.

I've been thinking, and I realised that no matter how screwed other things are, there'll always be that certainty. I should be DAMN thankful. I am, actually.

Playing WarCraft right now; you should be thankful that I'm even bothering to post. Point is, I'm gonna end now. I have some pretty big/deep/dark thoughts that I wanna put on paper (ok, screen) but not now.

Excuses, excuses

This weekend kinda didn't have a blogging vibe to it. So I'll do more next week to make up for it. Sorry. Anyway, I can't type anything remotely entertaining after reading her.

U + Ur Hand

(It's a pretty good song by Pink.)

One of my hands experienced a bit more of life than the other today.

That's all for now. Maybe more on Wednesday?

Common Fame is a Liar

Changed the blog address. Pretty cool if you can even read this.

Just got back from Malaysia. It was quite okay, kinda like class chalet but with a bedtime. Which sucks.

My previous post was, like, 3 months ago. So I've had alot of things in my head that I wanted to blog about but I forgot most of them. Which happens to me frustratingly often.

Hmm. Music.

I finally gotten Paramore's Riot! Kinda short album, only 'bout 38 mins but some pretty good songs and good variety. (Lol. Feel like I'm doing a review.)

Misery Bussiness, CrushCrushCrush and Born For This are all your standard rock songs but with a bit more lyrical sophistication. Hallelujah's one of those wailing songs that will only rock if the singer rocks. And Haylie pulls it off freaking good. My fav's Let the Flames Begin which has a emo-er side to it which sorta rounds off the album well.

The only thing that I think Paramore could do but hasn't done yet is a rock anthem kinda song. (Miss Murder, Beat It, etc..)

Speaking of Beat It, (FOB's cover of a fantastic MJ song) I totally think FOB's version is better. But my dad is sticking loyally to MJ. At least we have something in common to talk about.

I'm still totally torn over Panic(!) at the Disco. Their change of music direction totally screwed me over. The new album's full of happy-clappy songs with pale melodies and pretentious lyrics. Haiz. The only decent song is Pas De Cheval, which still has faint echos of the band they used to be. What happened to the "dark and secluded style of Panic(!) at the Disco" Oh, and they dropped the "!" from their name, which was the coolest thing about them.

Heard a few Red Jumpsuit Apparatus songs. Pretty damn good actually, like AFI. Gonna get the whole album from him.

Bands I wanna try out: Jimmy Eat World, Counting Crows. (They did Accidentally In Love. That song in Shrek 2?)

I just realised what marks a good album. First you listen to it a think the music rocks. Half a year later, you get off your ass and look up the lyrics. Then you think it rocks on a whole new level. Then half a year later you understand all the references and secrets hidden in the songs titles and lyrics and you think it truly rocks. Like From Under the Cork Tree and American Idiot. (No wonder the Grammy nominations. Do all the crap that most people are listening to have Grammy nominations? Huh? HUH? And that's the reason for Taylor Swift's teardrops on her guitar.)

...Hammering out this post's been sorta...fun. Reminds me of why I made this blog in the first place. Coz I only started writing coz a very good nagger's been nagging at me.

Is it still me that makes you sweat?
Am I who you think about in bed?
When the lights are dim and your hands are shaking
As you're sliding off your dress?
Then think of what you did
And how I hope to God he was worth it
When the lights are dim and your heart is racing
As your fingers touch your skin
I've got more wit, a better kiss
Hotter touch, a better f**k
Than any boy you'll ever meet
Sweetie, you had me
Girl, I was it, look past the sweat
A better love deserving of
Exchanging body heat in the passenger seat
No, no, no, you know it will always just be me
Let's get these teen hearts beating faster, faster
So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close?
So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close?
So, I guess we're back to us
So, cameraman swing the focus
In case I lost my train of thought
Where was it that we last left off?
Let's pick up, pick up
Oh, now I do recall
We were just getting to the part
Where the shock sets in and the stomach acid
Finds a new way to make you get sick
I hope you didn't expect
To get all of the attention
Let's not get selfish
Did you really think I'd let you kill this chorus?
Let's get these teen hearts beating faster, faster
So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close?
So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close?
Dance to this beat
Dance to this beat
Dance to this beat
Let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster

I've got more wit, a better kiss
Hotter touch, a better f**k

So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close?
So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
(Dance to this beat)
So, testosterone boys and harlequin girls
(Dance to this beat)
And hold a lover close

Yea, it's a song about sex. But not in a sick way or whatever. Just..dark. And damn freaking good. Which is what they still should be.
More to come.

"Of all the gin joints in the world,

Zz.

Days are really boring. Just going through the motions and stuff. Might sound emo but I'm not. Just kinda bland. Like Diet Coke. Or my blogskin.

Gave my science prez. Went well, was great cause I barely put in effort. And the nerves weren't that bad this time. Coz no pressure to do well. Observation: You do better when you don't give a damn.

SMS limit went kaboom. So don't SMS me anyomre. Unless it's urgent. Then I'll ignore it with some guilt.

Spent the whole afternoon/evening listen through all my music. Finally got round to deleting Hilary Duff. (Yea, I know.)

I didn't really used to get those saccharine, apologetic soliloquies that bimbos and/or bitches posted on their blogs. Still don't. So I'm gonna be sincere and stuff.

Sorry. It's a problem I have, I guess. Hopefully you aren't really pissed cause you're scary when you are. I'm trying to fix it and hopefully it'll work out.

Yeeeea. So, I've said what I should and I'm done.

she had to walk into mine."

Startin' from scratch

Okay. Haven't posted for, like, a month because internet's been screwed. (Along with Warcraft. Arrgh.) It still is, actually. Just not that much. So I can blog.

Locked up the blog because of:

1) Faggots/losers

2) Teachers

Yea, they're actually reading our blogs. Which I have always thought was possible but never would have guessed they really didn't have lives.

Anyway. 've only invited 4 dudes, 3 of which aren't dudes. Which is, like, a very sad thing. But RV/blog readers are mostly girls so there you go. And it's not like I have anyone else in mind that will actually truly understand my sliver-tongue rapier wit.

Not much to say right now. Will post more next time.

Classroom Politics

Monday. BTS.

CNY was decent. Gambling fun, learnt Bridge, pwned by cousin in Yugioh.

Need to find love song for LA. Can't decide. Don't want something to mushy. Must have screaming/guitar OR drum solo. Utopian standards I set for myself. Huh. Tough.

Didn't win CNY MV. Duh. Jeremy was so torn. As a result of delusion. Pessimism rocks.

Went LAN on Saturday. Never play seriously. (Would still have gotten pwned, even if I did.) Hiaz. Wasn't in the mood. Battleships is fun. Shaun says Invoker sucks. Not so fast to label him and cast him aside. Though I must admit lotsa n00bs are feeding with him on Zion. Yum.

Weekly dose of honesty: Jeremy sucks as the chairman. Sorry, dude. Can tell he's trying. He's a nice guy but don't have that leadership kinda spark. So still up to the SCs to manage. Which is fine by me. Best leaders are always the unofficial ones. Wah chim.

Something bad's gonna happen tomorrow. Mark my words. (Then if it doesn't happen then I'd be wrong but happy.) (If it happens then I'd be right but screwed.)
